Clinical Nutrition Programs in University of Massachusetts
The University of Massachusetts (officially nicknamed UMass) is the campus public university system-five Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The system includes UMass Amherst, Boston University, UMass Dartmouth, UMass Lowell and UMass Medical School. It was also a school called UMassOnline online. UMass Amherst is the flagship and largest campus of UMass, hosting more than 25,000 students. It was also the first campus in place. Like many colleges and universities, Massachusetts Agricultural College (as it was originally called) on the Amherst campus was founded as a land grant college in 1863, receiving an initial funding of start-up under the Act Morrill Land-Grant Colleges. It became Massachusetts State College in 1937, and the University of Massachusetts in 1947. The library system is the largest library system supported by the state in New England with more than 5.8 million articles.The campus has many buildings with distinctive architecture commissioned by the Community and designed by renowned architects.
